I hate trying to solder LEDs because one of the connections would eventually come loose, so I looked into these. Just connect the strip to the connector, making sure the white goes to the ground and the red goes to 5v because it’s easy to put the strip in with the power and ground connections reversed. After the strip is inserted correctly, put a drop of hot glue on the connection and close the tab over it. You can try to pull the LED strip and connector apart after getting glued and they stayed put. I will probably never attempt to solder LED strips after learning this technique. Try it out if you’re having the same issues as me, which you most likely are if you are purchasing this connector.
