    Inexpensive solution with priceless results

    An easy hour of my time and a little tinkering totally changed the look of the kitchen. Very easy installation, a good range of brightness and the exact color I was looking for. Would like to see more mounting clips to help secure the lights to the cabinets, but otherwise a very good product.

    Bright, unobtrusive, and easy to use

    I bought two strips of these and have two different use cases for them.

    In the first, I installed them under a bathroom vanity and plugged the lights into a smart outlet. These lights remember their last power-on setting so when the smart outlet turns on, the lights come on automatically to their last setting. That made them perfect for my situation – I mounted the SmartThings multipurpose sensor to my bathroom door which triggers the outlet to turn on, powering the lights, and I have soft, ambient light that’s enough to visit the restroom at night without destroying my night vision or causing me to become so awake I can’t go back to sleep.

    In the second, I installed these lights under my kitchen counters. I didn’t add any smart functionality to these, but the power-on button has a gentle orange/yellow glow when the strips are off so I can find it first thing in the morning before I’m fully awake. Again, the gentle glow is great for starting the wake-up process instead of being blasted with an overhead fluorescent light first thing.
